Global Sports for Justice and Empowerment: Promoting Peace, Equality, and Anti-Trafficking

At Ruto’s Angels, we believe in the transformative power of sports to create meaningful social change. Our Global Sports for Justice and Empowerment Initiative harnesses the influence of sports to promote peace, protect individuals from abuse and human trafficking, and empower youth in communities worldwide. By engaging in sports such as Boxing for Peace, Soccer, Track and Field, Pool, Swimming, Basketball, and Baseball, we aim to provide a platform for growth, equality, and protection.

Program Objectives:

• Peacebuilding Through Sports: Utilize sports to foster non-violence, teach conflict resolution, and promote peaceful coexistence in communities affected by conflict and unrest.

• Anti-Trafficking and Abuse Prevention: Educate and safeguard vulnerable populations, including those at risk of human trafficking, abuse, and harmful practices like Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).

• Youth Empowerment: Encourage leadership, discipline, and teamwork among youth, offering them a healthy and empowering outlet through sports.

• Cultural Empowerment and Equality: Promote equality and cultural exchange, using sports to break down barriers and challenge harmful social norms.
